M9 BUFFER

 

 

For 1 Liter:

                        KH2PO4                       3 g

                        Na2HPO4                     6 g

                        NaCl                            5 g

                        MgSO4 (1M)               1 ml

                        dH2O                           1 L

Combine above ingredients in large beaker or graduated cylinder using magnetic stir bar. Aliquot into appropriate sized bottles (I usually put 300mL in 500mL sized bottles), and then autoclave for 15 minutes.
